
Fruit Milk Chira Dessert

Step 1
Pour the milk into a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Stir occasionally and let it reduce slightly, as there is no need to boil it down for too long. Once thickened to your liking, remove from the heat and allow it to cool completely. For best results, refrigerate until well chilled.
Step 2
Rinse the chira thoroughly under cold water. Soak it for 2–3 minutes until just softened, then drain completely through a fine sieve and set it aside.
Step 3
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chilled milk with your choice of sugar or honey and a pinch of salt. Stir well until the sweetener is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
Step 4
Fold in the drained chira along with the sliced bananas and any fresh fruit of your choice. Gently mix everything together so the fruit and chira are evenly distributed throughout the milk.
Step 5
Spoon the mixture into serving bowls or glasses. Top with the almonds, pistachios, and a scattering of pomegranate seeds (if using). Serve immediately while chilled.

- 5Sliced bananas- 2
- 6Mixed fresh fruit (apple, pomegranate seeds, or grapes) - As preferred
- 7Almonds & pistachios- 1 tbsp
